Which replacement cell do I need?
The REME HALO® (REME-H / REME-H-T) uses the PHIC-RH cell. The REME HALO-LED® (REME-LED / REME-LED-AS) uses the PHIC-REME-LED cell. Check the part number printed on your current cell before ordering.
How often should I replace the cell?
About every 2 years (18,000 – 25,000 hours) for the REME HALO® cell, and about every 4.5 years for the HALO-LED® cell. A cell can keep glowing while its output has weakened.
REME HALO® or HALO-LED® — which one should I choose?
Both install in your ductwork and treat the air in every conditioned room. The HALO-LED® uses mercury-free LED technology, cycles with your blower and has a longer-lasting cell. The REME HALO® is the proven, more affordable option.
Can I install it myself?
These units connect to your HVAC system's 24 V power. We recommend installation by a licensed HVAC contractor.
Do you ship outside the United States?
